Ina Leahy

Ina was born on a farm southeast of Medicine Hat. She moved into town with her parents in 1984. She has called Medicine Hat her home for over forty years. Ina attended school in Medicine Hat, and then went to the College for two years. Ina played volleyball at college and was lucky enough to receive a scholarship both in Canada and the U.S. to play ball. After her two years in town she finished her education in Portland, Oregon.

Ina is a Registered Social Worker. Right out of school she worked for the Alberta Government in a children’s treatment center. She worked her way up from working night’s part time to becoming the supervisor of the Day Shift. After 12 years she decided to move on to another arena. From here Ina accepted a position with the Student Health Initiative and worked as a Behavior Consultant for the #76 and Prairie Rose School divisions for the past seven years.

Ina’s interests vary. She enjoys being very active, and loves to play golf, squash and volleyball. As well she enjoys reading, and traveling. Ina is a member of a local book club, the Medicine Hat City Volleyball league, the Sunrise Rotary Club, and the local AASCW committee (Social Work).

Ina and Bernie have been married for 14 years, and have two senior Labrador retrievers: Paxton and Murphy. Ina and Bernie enjoy traveling and recently bought into a destination club so that they have access to some amazing homes to enjoy.

Ina is available 7 days a week. You can reach her easily by either her cell phone or email. She is very interested in helping people move to the city she has enjoyed her whole life and showing them the potential of their move.
